The annual Macmillan Cancer Voices conference will be taking place Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October at the Hilton London Gatwick Hotel.
The conference is a great opportunity for you to connect with other Cancer Voices while acquiring training and skills development, so you can continue to influence the health and social care system after the conference. At this years’ event we will be working together to design what meaningful involvement for people living with or affected by cancer should look like across the UK.
It will be a packed two days and we are looking to have a spread of attendees from across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, to ensure we can drive change across the UK as a whole. Also for the first time we are inviting people working with Macmillan outside of the network including healthcare professionals and other cancer organisations.
As space at the conference is limited, if you would like to attend we ask that you register your interest by completing this short survey by22 July. Unfortunately, not everyone who registers their interest can be guaranteed a place. Once all responses have been received, they will be reviewed to ensure that we have a spread of attendees from across the UK (as well as enabling newer Cancer Voices the opportunity to attend their first Cancer Voices Conference.) We will be in touch to let you know the outcome by 11 August.
We look forward to working with you at the event or in the future.
